Pre-Orders:
Pre-orders for pins are sold at a discounted price and guarantee that you will receive the product in the best quality. Pre-orders will also come with freebies from us, which may include things like photo cards or stickers, to name a few.
The process of pre-orders requires for us to fill slots for the pin design. Filling these slots ensures funding to manufacture the pins. Once the slots are filled we will proceed with production. Production can take up to three to five weeks from the time pre-orders have closed. This is also taking into consideration that there are no issues with the production of the pin or delays, which if known about beforehand, will be conveyed to the purchaser. When our pins are delivered to us, we will inspect the pins for any issues not caught at the factory. We want to ensure all our customers are satisfied by providing the highest quality.
Apparel- Pre-orders for apparel is sold at a discounted price. They will come with freebies from us, which may include things like photo cards or stickers, to name a few. Slots and funding for apparel follows the same steps as our pins and accessories. All apparel will be checked for quality and defect by the manufacturer then again by us before it is shipped to our customers to ensure we are providing the highest quality possible. Please pay close attention to size when placing an order for any of our apparel as we cannot ensure that the item will be available in the correct size needed after in stocks go on sale.
When you agree to pre-order, please understand that you are agreeing to purchasing pins/apparel that have not yet been made. Slight variations may occur from the initial mockup and we will post updates as we get them. If there are pins available after pre-orders are fulfilled we will post the in-stock pins to our shop. In-stock pins will not be at a discounted price like they are during pre-orders.
We ask for your patience in this process. We are four friends from different areas in the U.S., working together to ensure that our customers are satisfied and our products are high quality. We appreciate your support and interest in our pins. Thank you!

International Shipping:
We also accept orders outside of the U.S. Please keep in mind that international orders will have a little higher shipping rate.
Pin Grades:
We strive to provide quality pins. With this in mind, there are times we may not be able to correct some pin flaws. This is why you will find different options when purchasing a pin. Our enamel pins can come in different grade options.
v Standard Grade – A pin that is perfect or near perfect will be considered standard grade. This includes no visible flaws or a very minor flaw that will not affect the integrity of the pin.
Minor flaws include but are not limited to:
- Small buff marks, scuffs, or scratches on metal/enamel
- light surface scuffing on the enamel or metal
- Stray glitter
- Slightly thicker metal outlines
- very minor enamel under fill
- very tiny, few air bubbles in the enamel or metal
v B-Grade – A B-grade pin will have possibly one major flaw or more visible minor flaws. The pin itself will still look in good condition.
Flaws include but are not limited to:
- multiple air bubbles in the enamel
- areas of low glitter
- noticeable amounts of dust on soft enamel
- large areas of under filled enamel
- moderately scuffed enamel or metal
v Seconds Pins – Pins that are second grade will have noticeable flaws. This will possibly include more than one major and minor flaws.
Flaws include but are not limited to:
- larger amounts of glitter in areas where there shouldn't be
- large and very noticeable areas of scuffing
- large and multiple air bubbles in soft or hard enamel
- large or multiple areas of missing metal lines
- multiple areas of enamel staining or discolored enamel
- significant areas of low-fill
- areas where enamel is missing
- large or deep scratches in enamel
- gouges in enamel
- multiple areas where glitter has been misapplied
Returns, Refunds & Exchanges:
We will review all return requests for consideration. We will issue refunds and exchanges only under a few conditions, as stated below:
v If the pin you receive has major damages that were associated with the production. This does not include pins that are of a particular grade, that the purchaser was aware of when purchased.
v If the pin you received was the wrong pin from your order.
Apparel- Returns will only be credited with a gift card of the item's value to be used for future purchases on our store. Exchanges will only be accepted if there are no signs of wear, and the size needed is available. In the case of the correct size being unavailable, a gift card of the item's value will be issued for future purchases on our store. A case for any defect that may have been missed by us and the manufacturer must be supported with sufficient picture evidence, and will be determined after review by Hwagae Market Pins.
Any other considerations will be made by us at Hwagae Market Pins, when brought to our attention.
